3) White Sands National Park
You can’t live in New Mexico and not visit white sands. It’s a perfect day trip out of Las Cruces. Great wave-like dunes of gypsum sand have engulfed 275 square miles of desert outside of Las Cruces. The White Sands National Park has lots of options for activities.
